About Me

My 10 year old is my beta reader. When he finished reading my chapter book manuscript, (about kids who want to learn how to sew), he promptly began stealing pillows, socks, stuffies and duct tape to make dress forms. I took that as the most encouraging compliment. 

My 7 year old says my book is boring and he would rather that we adopt a dog and name him “Napkin”. 

I love this chapter of my life. I’ve always loved to draw, and have enjoyed multiple careers in Design, Visual Art and Costuming. I’ve been a Sewing Shop Proprietress and an Independent Fashion Designer. Now I illustrate, and by some miracle, I am also a writer. I write. I draw. I will write some more. 

I love it.
